Symposium Social Events

Chatsworth House Visit
Date: Wednesday 11th September 2024
Time: 13:00 – 17:00
Location: Chatsworth House, location on map
Pick up: The Diamond Main Entrance, street view – 13:00
Drop off: The Diamond Main Entrance, street view – 17:00
This event is not included within the price of registration.
A coach will pick you up from the main entrance to the Diamond at 13:00 and will return to the same place at approximately 17:00. This will allow for 2 hours at Chatsworth House where you can explore the house and the gardens. It is recommended that you wear clothing that is comfortable and sufficient for the weather on the day as well as comfortable footwear as you may wish to spend time walking around the grounds.
Winter Gardens Drink Reception
Date: Wednesday 11th September 2024
Time: 18:30 – 20:30
Location: Sheffield Winter Garden, location on map
Dress code: ‘Smart/casual’
This will be an informal arrival drinks reception where you will be able to meet and network with other guests from the conference at a beautiful venue in the centre of Sheffield. The dress code will be ‘smart/casual’.
Cutler’s Hall Dinner
Date: Thursday 12th September 2024
Time: 19:00 – 23:00
Location: Cutler’s Hall, location on map
Dress code: ‘Smart/casual’
Although the venue might look very formal, this should be another opportunity to sit down and have food amongst other guests from the conference where people can network further. The dress code for this will also be ‘smart/casual’ as we want everyone to feel comfortable to attend and enjoy the night.
